Hunters Hill Removals Request a callback

The fine print, plainly

Terms of use

This page sets out what the website itself promises. It is deliberately modest, because the real commitments in a move belong in the written plan you receive after we talk, not in a webpage's fine print.

Guidance, not a quote

Everything on this site, the guides, the street notes, the Approach Plan tool and its suggestions, is general guidance offered in good faith. It reflects how we plan and work, but it cannot see your house, your piano or your stairs. No page here constitutes a fixed quote, and no tool output fixes a price. A quote exists when we have talked through your move and put it in writing.

The rates

The hourly rates on the rates page are the only figures this site publishes, and they are real: they are the rates we book at, in the crew configurations shown. The hours a move takes depend on the move, which is exactly what the callback and, where useful, a walk-through are for.

The Approach Plan tool

The tool composes its sketch from the pocket, home type and size you pick, using the general access knowledge written up in our guides. It estimates and steers. It does not promise a bridge will be open, a street will be clear, or a crew recommendation is final; those are confirmed when the job is booked.

Imagery

Some images on this site are illustrative, stock or generated, rather than photographs of a specific past job. They show the standard of work we hold ourselves to, not a portfolio of named clients, whose moves are their business, not our marketing.

Links beyond this site

Where we link to councils, government bodies or industry associations, we do so because they are the right authority on a point, not because they endorse us. Their content is theirs.

Liability, in plain words

Using this website costs nothing and commits you to nothing, and to the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of its general guidance alone. The responsibilities that matter, care of your goods and your home during a move, are taken on when work is agreed in writing, and nothing here excludes rights you hold under Australian Consumer Law.

Questions

Anything here unclear, or anything on the site that looks wrong: tell us. We would rather fix a page than defend it.
